Do you work with freshwater tanks?

Our primary expertise is saltwater and reef aquariums. If you have a freshwater system with significant challenges, reach out and we'll let you know if we can help.

Do you travel to clients?

Yes — we serve the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metro and surrounding areas for in-person consultations. We also offer virtual consultations via video call for clients outside the area.

How long does a consultation take?

Initial consultations typically run 60–90 minutes. Ongoing support sessions are usually 30–45 minutes. Emergency troubleshooting calls are handled as needed.

Do you sell equipment or products?

No. Basement Aquatics is a consulting-only business — we have no financial relationship with any equipment brand or retailer. That means your recommendations are 100% unbiased.
